CS is pleased to present, Delight Theme for Prestashop v1.4, and we thank you for showing interest on this theme. The Delight Sunshine theme is now available in our eStore for purchase. A demo for the theme is available at http://demo.delightsunshine.callosmart.com.

This post outlines the features of the theme and its variants (to be available soon) along with some screenshots where possible.

1. Theme Contents

The theme contains many custom developed modules suitable for the theme besides the core theme files. Some of these modules replace the functionality of some of the existing built-in modules. We recommend you to read this guide completely before installing the theme on your live shop. Detailed information about each of these modules will be found later in this guide.

2. Compatibility

This theme has been tested with the stable Prestashop release 1.4.0.17 and with the latest Source code from Prestashop 1.4 SVN trunk at the time of this release (Build: 5738). This theme is compatibility tested for major browsers – Internet Explorer 8, Firefox 3.6, Opera 11, Safari 5 and Google Chrome 9.

3. Features & Modules

The theme provides various features through a set of custom framework modules delivered along with the theme. Some of these modules replace the functionality of built-in modules and hence require the replaced built-in modules to be uninstalled during the configuration of the theme.

3.1. Preview

The theme when installed will make your shop look like below, depending on the installed modules & features.

The whole front-office page is divided into 11 areas/regions.

1. Logo Area: This area is at the top left of the page and contains your shop’s logo. The image used in the preview above if of size 238 x 32 pixels.
2. Top Hanging Area: This is the area to the top right corner of the page where the user information, cart preview, language selection & currency selection boxes hang from the top of the screen. All of the four boxes hanging there are custom made and replace their corresponding built-in modules.
3. Top Support Block: The area below the hanging area is where support information of the site is shown. In the above preview, a phone support block and a chat support block are shown. On the category pages, there will be one more block shown here – “Category products RSS link”
4. Main Menu Area: This is the area below the top blocks where the site’s main menu is shown.
5. Top Breadcrumb & Search Area: Area below the main menu is the area where a navigation breadcrumb and a search box are shown.
6. Banner & Promotions Area: This is the area where a banner image is shown. The image is set as the background for the block and the current specials are shown in its center.
7. Content: This is the standard three column content area
8. Bottom Breadcrumb & Search Area: Area below the content is the area where a navigation breadcrumb and a search box are shown – similar to the top breadcrumb.
9. Colophon Area: This is the area at the bottom with a dark background which can show up to four columns of links & html.
10. Copyright & Compatibility area: At the bottom of the colophon area, the copyright & compatibility information is shown
11. Logo Area: A list of payment logos are shown below the colophon area. The logos shown depend on the payment options enabled in your shop.

3.2. Features

The theme overrides some of the framework features.

1. JQuery 1.4.4 is overridden with jQuery 1.5.1.
2. Image lazy loading – invisible images are loaded on demand.
3. Uses INR currency symbol from http://www.webrupee.com when enabled.
4. Overrides the default 404 smarty template.
5. Overrides the default sitemap smarty template.
6. Fixes some bugs in the default smarty templates.
7. Top & bottom breadcrumb based on jBreadcrumb jQuery plugin (http://comparenetworks.com/developers/jqueryplugins/jbreadcrumb.html).
8. Live Chat Support block based on free Comm100 service (http://www.comm100.com).
9. Phone Support block.

3.3. Modules

Below is a list of custom made modules delivered along with the theme.

1. Delight Core Theme block: This is a core module and requires being installed and active for proper functioning of the theme. This module should be installed/hooked before any other custom module mentioned in this system.
2. Delight User info block: Displays either of two blocks based on whether a user is currently logged-in to the shop. This module replaces the built-in User info block.
   1. If a user is logged-in, [Welcome UserName – My Account - Sign-out] is shown
   2. If a user is not logged-in, [Welcome Sign-in/Sign-up] is shown
3. Delight Mini cart block: Shows a preview of user’s shopping cart. This module replaces the built-in User info block.
4. Delight Currencies block: Shows a list of selectable currencies. This module replaces the built-in Currency block.
5. Delight Languages block: Shows a list of selectable languages. This module replaces the built-in Language block.
6.  Delight Current Category Products RSS Feed Link block: Shows an icon for the user to subscribe to the RSS feed for the products in the currently shown category. This block is shown on when on a category page.
7. Delight Comm100 Chat Support block: Shows an icon and a link. This block uses the free live chat support services provided by Comm100 at (http://www.comm100.com). This module is configurable. You need to sign-up for free at the Comm100 website and provide your site id and plan id in the module configuration page, to enable this module display.

   2. Site Id: Site Id from your shop’s Comm100 registration
   3. Plan Id: Plan Id from your shop’s Comm100 registration
   4. Partner Id: Partner Id from your shop’s Comm100 registration
   5. Offline Contact Url Type: Url type to display when no live chat operators are available. Available types are “Comm100” (Comm100 offline page), “Internal” (Prestashop’s Contact Form), “External” (A custom url)
   6. Offline Contact Url: Custom offline contact url.
8. Delight Phone Support block: Shows an icon and shop’s contact phone number. The contact number can be configured in the back-office configuration of the module. Along with the phone number, you can also set the availability timings of the phone support. Only during the available timings, the phone number is shown online. This icon updates itself with AJAX and does not need a refresh to change its state. This means, if I open the home page of your shop at 5:59 PM and I will be shown an online phone support link (assume you work till 6:00 PM). Even if I do not refresh the page, the status of the phone number turns offline at 6:00 PM.

9. Delight Main Menu block: Shows a hierarchical drop-down menu of your shop. The menu displays categories, manufacturers (if enabled), and CMS pages of your shop to any depth. This module replaces the built-in Permanent Links block.
10. Delight Breadcrumb & Search block: Displays a navigation breadcrumb of the current page, above & below the content areas, based on jBreadcrumb plugin. This module replaces the built-in Quick Search block.
11. Delight Banner Promotion block: Displays a banner image. In the center area of the banner, the current specials are shown. If there are more than 1 special, they are animated. The number of specials to show and the type of the animation can be controlled from the module’s back-office configuration page. This module replaces the built-in Specials block.

12. Delight Colophon block: Displays up to four columns of links or html content at the bottom of the page. The block’s content is organized as column -> block -> item. There are two sections in the back-office configuration for this module. One section is to create blocks & items within these blocks. The second is to manage visibility & order of the blocks within a column. This module replaces the built-in Permanent Links block.

    5. Manage Columns: Used to order/show/hide blocks within a column

13. Delight Copyright and Compatibility block: Displays copyright & compatibility information which can be configured in the back-office.

14. Delight Logos & Affiliations block: Displays payment logos for all enabled payment methods in the footer of the page. This module replaces the built-in Block Payment Logo block.
15. Delight WebRupee Support block: This block adds support to Indian Rupee symbol is INR currency is enabled (need not be set as current). All occurrences of “Rs.” Will be replaced with symbol.
